Satcom1 is excited to announce that Inmarsat has confirmed the introduction of full global coverage of the Inmarsat broadband services!BGAN, FleetBroadband, SwiftBroadband and Inmarsat Satellite Phone Services are fully functional. The new global I-4 satellite regions are:

• I-4 Americas - at 98 degrees West
• I-4 EMEA - at 25 degrees East
• I-4 Asia-Pacific - at 143.5 degrees West

Satcom1 has started using cell phones  on board via our AvioIP software presently installed in an airborne router AR250. Via Swiftbroadband technology you can now make calls for 2 USD a minute on board your VIP aircraft.

The vessels will be used by a Human Right organization for reporting events on the oceans, where they will use streaming 256 Kbps to sent picture and stories from the sea.
