The reason for offering KU-band solution is simply to provide Satcom1 customers satcom network design where we use the different satellite networks to optimise the network and provide our customers the exact features they are requesting.
The KU-band is ideal for e.g. large size data and LiveTV. This is ideal for Satcom1 VIP customers, who wishes a satcom network, which can deliver most of the request for cabin communication and also entertainment in one package.
Satcom1 has partnered with ViaSat to deliver the ideal solutions to primarily; Boeing -and Airbus customers.
