Satcom1 is an on-board solution provider and our engineering team design every week new aeronautical Local Area Networks (LAN) including servers, routers and sometimes videoconferencing equipment. 

Often our customers have a clear wish to what their "office in the sky" shall be able to do and also requests for limitations. Satcom1 has the last two years been developing several added customer values, which did not default come with either the satcom hardware or the satellite link.

The customers needs and requests for their LAN are revealed during our dialog with end-user either direct or via an installation center partner, which is often, when we are making the Satcom1 "Architecture Study".  Satcom1 then also makes a proposal for the non existing features to be developed and the customer can choose the default package or the extended Satcom custom package with new software features.
