Satcom1 design aeronautical satcom networks with videoconference feature for VIP aircraft, head of state aircraft and coast guard survelliance. The recent installation on a VIP A320 aircraft, which now has been flying since last November has caused many more Satcom1 customers to demand this feature to have live video conference meetings from air to ground and vice versa.

 

Satcom1 designs and partner with the aircraft's prefered installation center to install the video conference design in the aircraft. The design includes; Inmarsat dual Swift64 channels, which provides 128 Kbps datarate via  the ISDN interface, Polycom's VSX-7000 and two 42" LCD screens in the aircraft cabin. Satcom1 also made the design work with and without encryption to ensure meeting different customer's demands of security level.

 

Satcom1 is installing 3 more systems in a US based installation center this coming July. Also, with new Inmarsat SwiftBroadband (SBB) being launched in October 2007 from Inmarsat, Satcom1 can apply this system to work with SBB. To learn more contact: sales@satcom1.com
