The three Satellite Systems, which Satcom1 currently works with are; Inmarsat, Iridium and Thuraya.
The systems have different benefits pending on, what the customer requirements are ? and where they need connectivity? and price for hardware and running costs ?.
When Satcom1 talks to a customer a detailed dialog will take place to make sure hardware choice, satellite connectivity and customer usage matches the customer needs to ensure the solution is a longterm for both the customer and Satcom1.

Satcom1 has reached the highest level of Service Provider when in 2004 being appointed Point of Service Activation (PSA) with Inmarsat, which provides direct access to the satellite network. This access provides Satcom1 the opportunity to support our customer base with fast satcom activations but more important detailed troubleshooting, if ever needed.
Satcom1 is in Inmarsat's aeronautical area considered as an Onboard Solution Provider and referenced on the Inmarsat website as a high level aeronautical expert.
