Complete Airtime Services
We provide airtime via SIM cards, open system usage and prepaid solutions subject to your requirements for managing airtime consumption. Services include voice, fax and data consumption depending on the functions provided by your specific terminal.
Satcom1’s airtime services also encompass fleet tracking and monitoring or position reporting capabilities.

Global Activations:
Satcom1 activates all satellite communication services independently of the satellite provider, hardware producer and completion centre. Wherever you are situated in the world and whatever size your aircraft, Satcom1 will be able to provide you with the necessary satellite communication services. Activation document can be found here
Flight Billing:
Flight Billing is a solution aimed at charters and fractional ownerships or any customer who wishes to be able to bill satellite services on a flight leg basis. This can be in the form of credit card payment, vouchers or login. The entire service usage during a flight is billed to a single user. This means that all users that access services are billing to one account. The Flight Billing solution does not require any modifications to the aircraft and simply requires Satcom1 as the service provider.
Internet & Email:
Satcom1 offers Internet access, a fast and seamless way to use the Internet. Satcom1's E-Mail service allows Inmarsat users to send and receive e-mail directly through the Internet without accessing a public telephone network. The service offers several options for users to send and receive e-mail.
One Number Dial:
Satcom1 provides the exclusive One Number Dial service, which provides you with one phone number to reach all extensions in the aircraft, no matter the region or satellite. When a person on ground calls the aircraft using the One Number Dial, the person will be presented with a voice prompt telling the person to e.g. press 1 for cockpit, press 2 for cabin and so forth.
Airtime Monitor:
Satcom1 offers two different Airtime Monitor solutions:
• Daily Monitor: Informs of the daily usage on board the aircraft.
• Limit Monitor: Automatically sends an email when limit reached
FaxEnhancer:
Satcom1’s unique FaxEnhancer service guaranties a remarkable 99.99% fax reliability, ensuring important documents reach their destination uninterrupted, previously unheard of in the industry.

Express Data Acceleration:
Satcom1 has employed Expand® infrastructure at our facility to provide unparalleled data acceleration to our clients. We have also included an Expand® module in our groundbreaking router software AvioIP 2.0 to accommodate our Expand® infrastructure, and to provide a complete data acceleration solution for faster Internet on board your aircraft. Nevertheless, Satcom1 does not restrict our superior acceleration solution to our own software suit and thus we support any third party Expand® acceleration solution such as the CNX series by EMS.
In addition to Satcom1’s Expand® solution, we have also developed a filtering and content management technique that provides our clients with the opportunity to customise the way that content is accessed on the Internet, resulting in even faster Internet.
