ViaSat KU-Band
Yonder® is an “always on” high-speed Internet service that is available while idling, taxiing or in full flight.Yonder has the fastest connection speeds with the largest global coverage along the busiest air routes without the worry of being disconnected or over-charged if usage exceeds your service plan. The service provides full Internet connections (Wi-Fi), Virtual Private Network (VPN), e-mail with attachments via laptops, voice-over IP (VoIP), and the use of other Wi-Fi devices on corporate jets.
 | Yonder® Mobile Broadband Service uses commercial Ku-band satellites to send and receive data from your aircraft. On-board equipment includes a WiFi-enabled wireless LAN that connects your WiFi-equipped laptop or other device to the ViaSat ArcLight® Network. A small on-board transceiver/router and externally-mounted compact antenna provide your dual-direction communication link with the satellite. And the network of ViaSat ArcLight® ground stations completes your connection to the Internet, delivering continuous service and 24/7 monitoring that never leaves you flying solo. |
